If you need to cancel your order, we advise reaching out to the merchant where you placed it as quickly as possible. Whether you are able to cancel your order depends on its status and how far along it is in the shipping process. The further along your package is in the shipping process, the less likely it will be to be canceled. This is why it is important to contact the merchant as soon as you can if you need to cancel your shipment.
Steps to cancel your order:
Contact the Merchant: Immediately contact the merchant’s support team to request cancellation.
Your merchant's contact information will typically be found on their website's help page. We suggest reaching out to them as soon as possible.
Provide Order Details: Have your order details ready to send to your merchant's support team so that they can resolve this quickly.
Follow Merchant Instructions: Adhere to the instructions provided by the merchant for cancelation.
Once you advise that you need to cancel your order, your merchant will provide more information on what is needed from your end.
Passport's Role in Cancellation
Merchant Consent: As the shipping company, Passport requires direct consent from the merchant to cancel shipments. This means that we are unable to adhere to any cancelation requests unless it comes directly from your merchant. Your merchant will be the best resource to assist with any questions regarding canceling your order.
Shipping Stage: Our ability to halt a package's shipment depends on its current stage in the shipping journey.
Before Processing Center: If the package hasn't reached our processing center, there's a slight possibility (though not guaranteed) that we can intercept and halt the shipment.
After Processing Center: Once the package reaches our processing facility, it becomes unfeasible to stop the shipment.
