How long will it take to receive my package?

Several factors can impact the delivery time of an international package. The most common factors are listed below:

1. Shipping method: Different shipping methods offer different delivery speeds. Express shipping options can deliver packages within a few days, while standard or economy shipping methods might take weeks. This is dependent on which shipping methods the retailer provides and we advise referring to them if there are any questions. 
   
   

2. Distance and logistics: The farther the package has to travel, the longer the delivery time is likely to be. Additionally, the package's journey—whether it's going by air, sea, or land—can also affect the timeline.
   
   

3. Customs processing: Every package entering a new country must go through customs for inspection. The length of this process can vary, cannot be expedited, and can sometimes result in delays. Unfortunately, Passport is unable to control the amount of time it will take a package to clear. We advise ensuring that all duties and taxes have been paid so that this process can go as smoothly as possible. 
   
   

4. Local delivery: Once the package has cleared customs, it will be prepared for delivery by the local carrier and delivered to your provided address. The speed of this can depend on the efficiency of the local postal or courier service. Once the package is handed over to the local courier, you can check for tracking updates directly from their tracking page. You can find this information under the 'local delivery' section located on your Passport tracking page. 

Estimating Delivery Times

While exact delivery times can be hard to predict due to the factors above, we do our best to provide you with an estimated delivery date. There are several places where you should be able to access your estimated delivery date:

• At the time of purchase: Many online stores and sellers provide an estimated delivery date at checkout. This estimate usually takes into account the shipping method and expected customs processing time.
  
  

• Shipping confirmation: When the seller ships your package, they'll often send a shipping confirmation with tracking information. This tracking information can provide an estimated delivery date. 
  
  

• Courier tracking tools: Passport's tracking page allows you to track your shipments' progress, see the estimated delivery date, and be informed of any delays or issues encountered throughout its journey.
  
  NOTE: The delivery dates on the tracking page are estimated based on the average delivery times to your destination country.  Delivery dates are subject to change based on the factors mentioned above

Once your parcel leaves the United States, it will take roughly 10-14 business days to arrive in your country. This timeline should be reflected in the estimated delivery date on your tracking page.
